PCOS

I’ve recently been diagnosed with PCOS which is Polycystic  ovary syndrome….

When I first read the letter telling me, I was in shock, I really was not expecting anything like that.

From what I’ve read the big thing that might help me is lifestyle changes, in other words exercise and eating right, so I will have to find something out of the hated exercise that I “like” and start doing it.

Cant understand why its come about now though.

We shall see what happens

update on my paternal grandfather

My uncle went to hospital today and his dad was sitting up, speaking without too much difficulty and told my uncle the feeling was coming back in his arm!
Grandad  said he needed to go to the bathroom and walked both ways with his zimmer frame even stopping to talk to other patients and visitors! He even had some soup and dessert while my uncle was there.
I’m so so thankful that he seems to be getting better

Budgies

We are now the owners of a pair of budgies….

One is blue the other is green.

They are both insane, the green one keeps going for the blue ones feet and pushing it off the perch.

And they both very noisy, was hard work trying to get them home, we had two bird travel boxes and the birds where going mad in them, when we got them home and into the cage we bought, they was so freaked out they just sat on floor of cage just staring, was worried at first thinking that there was something majorly wrong with them.

Now we cant get them to shut up!

Grandfathers

In the last few days, both my maternal and paternal grandfathers have entered hospital…..

My maternal grandfather has been feeling ill for a while and I only learnt the other day that he’s been having internal bleeding…that just bought lots of memories flooding back, four years ago is when we lost Bryan, who also happens to be my maternal grandfathers son…….

So all we can do is pray and wait for the doctors to refer him for a colonoscopy on which there is a months waiting list.

Meanwhile just after hearing about him, I received another call from my mum saying that my paternal grandfather had been violently sick all day and had lost his co-ordination.

He’d even asked his son to call for an ambulance, now my paternal grandfather is of the generation where they just trudge on, so to hear my mum say that he’d asked for amulance was pretty alarming.

Been on phone to my parents, who thought it was a stroke and then the doctors confirmed it.

They have also been down to see him in hospital over last weekend and it was pretty upsetting for both of them, he can barely say three words and was close to tears as he couldnt say the stuff that he wanted to.

He’s down for physio but his age is against him.
