Bike Riding

My Son has now had his stabilizers removed from his bike and we are trying to get him used to riding it, however, I did not realise just what a hard job it really is to teach a child to ride.

He starts off OK, then as soon as either one of us lets go of his back he stops pedaling, it really is quite infuriating as he is so close to getting it, I guess that its all about confidence.

We shall see.

End of a chapter

It was a sad night at church tonight, a family’s last night at Xcel, they are relocating “Down Under” to Australia.

Lots of tears and hugs from everybody.

They are such a incredible family and a big part of the Church.

Will be missed immensely.

Comic Relief

Finally got around to writing and posting a very quick blog about Comic Relief,  the amount of time and effort that went in to it was amazing, I believe that the total amount raised on night was something like 78 million, thats a lot of money.

I appreciate that its for charity and all that but what about right here in the UK?

“4 million children – one in three – are currently living in poverty in the UK, one of the highest rates in the industrialised world”

“The proportion of children living in poverty grew from 1 in 10 in 1979 to 1 in 3 in 1998. Today, 30 per cent of children in Britain are living in poverty.”

Sorry, just my thoughts…

Japan

When I heard about the disaster in Japan I was so horrified,  even more so  after seeing the pictures in newspapers and such like.

To see such devastation on such a huge scale was truly a heart wrenching moment.

Really praying that people get the help and aid that they need,  that other countries in the world will step in on a large scale and help.

PRAYING  FOR  JAPAN.
