Its now six months on and I’m actually seeing that it’s not at all easy, yeah, I’ve had a fair few interviews but nothing has come of them, am wondering how long I will be in this job.
I don’t really know what job role that I would like, I’m qualified in childcare and I’ve been told the qualification that I have is now obsolete and I would have to go back to college, but I don’t want to do childcare anymore now either.

My friends tell me that I would be good in a carer role but I don’t think that I could cope with the personal aspect of care.
I’d like a steady 9-5 job, five days a week with a good rate of pay but to do that it seems that it is all administration work and I’m just not qualified for that.

Just keeping plodding on and pushing doors to see if they open.

I was pinning all my hopes on this job, it was gonna get us off jobseekers and everything.

Now i just feel like a failure and worthless, I cant even get a crummy Mcdonalds job

Why is life so unfair

WHOOP I GOT THE JOB AFTER ALL

So far I have got two interviews coming up one for Macdonald’s and  one for royal mail, now I’d much prefer to work at royal mail as I heard the pay is very good there but alas its only a Christmas temp job and Macdonald’s is a permanent job, so I need to find a smart outfit for my interviews and also need to get to the next town over to pick up a replacement birth certificate as a form of ID for myself.

Didn’t get the job, I kinda knew that already as they didnt phone me….

They say they will keep me on file for six months, we shall see.

Its all experience anyhow!

Its so annoying to be lied to like that.

At least its experience for next time and this means it wasn’t the right job for me.

Got there at 2.30 as requested, got intro’d to staff and children, sat and talked and played to children in the nursery and then moved into the afterschool room where the post is for, there where no children in at the time and the staff where preparing snacks for them, there was a mountain of washing up and they seemed to be a bit behind, so I started doing the washing up, only problem was that I washed up for the entire half hour that I was there and I didnt interact with the children!!

The whole point of me going was to see how I got on with the children….

I blew it!!

They will phone me monday or tuesday to discuss how it went, im not holding out any hope.

Oh and the woman said I did really well for my first interview in over four years!

Im so so sick of Josh getting poorly, we had to leave church early tonight as he had been sick twice at church and just looked really poorly, I wish I knew how to stop him being sick

Frustrated!

It will be my first interview in over four years, Im very nervous and trying to swot up on the changes in childcare that have happened in that time, not having much luck, the words are dancing in front of my eyes.

Interview is monday at 10.30
