Well it’s now Thursday morning and there has been no phone call, to be honest I wasn’t really expecting one after i messed up the interview….but they said they would call either way.
Its so annoying to be lied to like that.
At least its experience for next time and this means it wasn’t the right job for me.
Well I just came away from the second part of my interview thinking that I well and truely fluffed it!
Got there at 2.30 as requested, got intro’d to staff and children, sat and talked and played to children in the nursery and then moved into the afterschool room where the post is for, there where no children in at the time and the staff where preparing snacks for them, there was a mountain of washing up and they seemed to be a bit behind, so I started doing the washing up, only problem was that I washed up for the entire half hour that I was there and I didnt interact with the children!!
The whole point of me going was to see how I got on with the children….
I blew it!!
They will phone me monday or tuesday to discuss how it went, im not holding out any hope.
I had the interview, it lasted an hour! Asking me loads of questions, what whould I do in certain situations and things, anyhow, I have to go back on friday to see how I get on with the kids.
Oh and the woman said I did really well for my first interview in over four years!
Ok, am getting very nervous about interview tomorrow, still got to iron my clothes and read up on some stuff, on top of all that Joshua is now poorly………AGAIN!
Im so so sick of Josh getting poorly, we had to leave church early tonight as he had been sick twice at church and just looked really poorly, I wish I knew how to stop him being sick
